Chartres Cathedral,France
Eiffel Tower
I chose the Eiffel Tower because I wanted to learn more about it. It is located in Paris, France and was built by Alexandre Gustave Eiffel. The tower was finished on the 30th of March, 1889 and was opened on the 6th of May. Eiffel had a permit for the tower to stand for 20 years, meaning it would have had to be taken down in 1909. Luckily, this command was never made.

Stonehenge
I chose this landmark because I thought is was pretty cool to research about.
It looks like it was built by giants,
It's order is kind of weird.
It's a good landmark to talk and write about, of its shape and order.
I wonder if Stonehenge is going to topple over? Built by giants, ha Talk about it!!!

About the project - From the teacher
This project helps students become familiar with basic journalism concepts. In the first lesson, students are given topics to find in a newspaper. It is a good reading exercise as they scan through the different sections and articles in the newspaper. News Correspondent enhances reading, writing and researching skills in a way students can easily understand.
